We went to the Cove and had a great day, thought of you all often and wished you were here in sunny Ca.

A lot of eating went on today; some crackers, fruit, seaweed, sand, shells, sticks...

He wouldn't go in the water, just loved staring at the waves crashing.

Wednesday

Again with the 'look'. She used her face to break a fall yesterday while climbing on a rock.

My rose 'garden'...after planting 8 rose bushes, this is one of the 4 blooms I have.

Dug up artifact thanks to the dog. Story is the previous owners had a horse that was sick...anyway, Mario says this is part of the late Mr. Ed.

She's a climber. We think she's part goat; she loves to climb, eat dirt, leaves and paper products.

Weekend Events

Took the dog to get a shave for the upcoming heat.

This is the look Teo gets when eating. They both get really quiet and fall into a trance during meals.

Not OK

Here's little Walela eating pilaf with yogurt...a little warning, she's a bit messy. The background noise is T trying to help Mario finish the tile in the bathroom---he's super helpful.

The Engineer

We often refer to T as the engineer...he enjoys lining things up and making patterns with various toys/objects. Mario already has a few schools picked out for him.

Here he is asleep for the night. Some kids sleep with soft bears, but he prefers his pirate ship to curl up to.

When we first moved here this Palo Verde was not doing well, after a little watering and tlc this tree is now vibrant.

Gardening

Our sunflowers and squash are growing beautifully...

The poor girl got thirsty after an evening in the garden.

Mario calls this our corn "farm"

Now the girl is hungry....can't keep up with her needs.
