Our first rain and possibly some grass!!!

T standing on the bed watching the rain fall.

These two pics are here because the father and I are having a debate whether or not to cut the kids hair. I say cut it.

Look real close to this one on the left, can you see the grass???

Having a snack of mud.

Just really cute playing on the rocks.

  • Peanut butter sandwiches and then inside for baths and naps :))

Christmas Pics

Here are the Christmas pictures we chose. T was in motion in all the pics I took, this one was the least blurry. Another hat pic of the little girl and a cute picture of the two of them cuddled on the couch---their own doing. Enjoy!

Grumble, grumble, grumble....Success!!!!

Saturday morning he was sent out to attack the swing set that arrived earlier in the week. The directions and comments from other's who bought the same set stated it would take 1 1/2 to 2 hours...
5 hours later

some very happy children, parents, and grandma were able to enjoy the swing set.
She wanted some help at first, but then became a natural and was swinging on her own.
Testing out the teeter-totter. It's perfect for the two because it's nice and low to the ground.
Thank You Grandma!!!! The perfect gift for T's birthday.

Lunch

My mom thinks it's pretty funny how quiet these two are when they are eating, I think it's wonderful :)

The boy is 3!!!

We canceled the "big" party and opted for a small dinner with mom and the Brits (actually one Brit and one Canadian). Mom made a yummy chicken dinner with pilaf, salad and spinach and I made the cake for the little man. He loves banana bread so I made banana bread cupcakes. Here are a few pics of the evening. First, T blowing out his candles.

Overjoyed from the singing and attention...

Here he is showing off his Mr. Potato Head----he loves this guy.

We bought him a t-shirt with the "Toy Story" characters on it, this is the closest he's gotten to wearing it.

Trying on the sunglasses from the Mr. Potato Head set...

P.S. I know I've written this before, once it gets to be below 85 I will be posting pictures with their clothes on...it was sooooooo hot Sunday we had the air going for most of the day.

gravity and hat pics

It all started with a large imagination and the movie "Toy Story". Thinking he was Buzz Light Year T took a flying leap off his bed rail. It was as they say like watching something in slow motion. Turns out he broke his collar bone and needs to wear this sling for two weeks. It has been one week now and he is without the sling but doing very well, just holds his hand against his chest. A lot of people are saying, "didn't your brother do the same thing?" mmmmmmmm

Bought him a game to keep his mind off his shoulder...a couple problems with my thoughtful gift, he is left handed and you have to keep a steady hand---opps.

And, here are the hat pictures...in the bath

needing more than one hat to wear---actually 3 total...

her first tutu...

T's favorite reading spot...for now anyway.

Check out the huge spider web outside mom's window, big creepy brown spider in the middle.

T's new fishing ground, he came up with this on his own.

Finally found a way to get his pin wheel to move, put it up to the vent when the air is on.

Say goodbye to the high chair, sitting at the table like a big girl.

Science Museum

Went with my friend and two of her boys to the Science Museum in Temecula---really fun. There were about 6 rooms each with a different theme. The kids were able to roam from room to room exploring and touching everything. Aside from the gross germ factor I thought it was pretty cool.

Having a chat with ???

Pushing the buttons to make the water push the balls around.

Starting to get tired, coming close to lunch and nap time.

Melting down....
